My Week as a Kennel Helper

Heidi Doherty is our volunteer who will arrive before the Expo starts at Raynham Greyhound Park. She is serving a one week internship as a kennel helper in the Ryan Racing kennel. Henry Chin, owner and trainer, will supervise Heidi during the week. Heidi will be doing everything that a kennel person would be responsible for during that week, including getting up by 6AM to do morning turnout, changing beds, picking up poop, weighing them in, schooling, picking up the racers, and making their food. For those of you who know Heidi, you know that she will do just about anything to promote greyhound adoption and will find the time to pay attentioin to each and every greyhound! She will find it challenging to spend as much time with them as Henry does, and still keep the kennel as spotless. These two will make a greyt pair together in the kennel. You also know that Heidi's groups gets most of their dogs from Raynham, and are now getting some from the Ryan Racing kennel since it has relocated to Raynham from Wonderland. Heidi will find out how life was for all her future adoptee's before they retire to her group! The price of Heidi's internship is giving a talk to all Expo attendees at Raynham. She will share with you her duties and impressions of working in a real racing kennel. Have your questions ready for her!

Heidi is volunteer extraordinary for GPA MA, and works as a kennel helper for them on Thursdays!
